Ingenue Premiere and other film updates

As I’ve previously mentioned, I’ve been working on the indie feature Ingénue for the last 6 months or so, here and there, as the visual effects editor and title sequence designer (and DVD menu author and end credits designer, for the record.) It was edited by my friend Katie and directed by Kate Chaplin. Ingénue is now nearly finished and has a premiere date in Indianapolis.

If you’re in the Indianapolis area and you’d like to come, you can buy tickets online.

Other opportunities to see the film in are coming soon, including cities in Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio so far.

And I suppose to update the other films I’m working on…Impersonators has additional photography in the works, and has announced a couple extra cast members to round some things out — Jas Sams (V/H/S) and Ruben Pla (Insidious, 24). Sadie Grace continues to work its way through pre-production with some very interesting developments that might be public soon. It’s interesting to be so involved in a film early on as an editor, if only to have an appreciation for how much work the director and producers do to get a film moving. And of course, it’s nice to have editorial input this early.
