I spent some time during the first half of 2011 working on a book trailer/video essay for the book The Maltese Touch of Evil: Film Noir and Potential Criticism. The book just became available for purchase within the last two weeks, so if you’re into noir or film in general, or you just want something interesting to read, you should go get a copy.

The book was co-written by my friend Richard Edwards, who I collaborated directly with to produce the video based on the book. He and co-author Shannon Clute also have a podcast called Out of the Past if you want to hear some thoughtful analysis of films noir.
