Yeah, I’m still working on the first.

However, I thought it was worth mentioning that I have my second feature lined up.

It’s a slasher comedy called The Ballad of Sadie Grace, directed by Joshua Hull. It’s currently in pre-production with the lead role already filled by Bill Mosley, which is pretty exciting news in the horror world. Other casting announcements are sure to come.

Shooting will begin this fall, I believe. I think it’ll also be my first time cutting performances by SAG talent.

I’ve read the script, and it’ll be a lot of fun to edit. And kind of terrifying, actually. I’ve seen concept art for Sadie, and well, that’s going to make for some interesting post-production dreams. Also pretty intrigued by the sound editing that’s going to go into this. As it’s a slasher, I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that I might be recording a lot of slippery wet splatty sounds.

It seems Sadie will begin production in fall 2013, probably a couple of months after The Impersonators is completed. I guess Josh doesn’t like to relax and reap the rewards of his hard work, and for that I am thankful.
