I did a photo shoot for a friend this weekend. She’s getting married early next year and wanted to do some engagement photos in the spring, so I volunteered to do them in order to continue to build my portfolio. Here are a few shots I particularly liked:

This is the second engagement shoot I’ve ever done. I was pretty happy with the results, and I felt like I had a lot of good instincts dealing with the light. It was a pretty sunny day, but luckily some clouds would come and go too. I shot the whole session on a 50mm 1.8/f lens – also my first session with that lens. I look forward to getting more practice with it, and maybe with my old 35mm.
